Urbanspace is a company with deep roots in the Austin community. Since our founding in 2000, we’ve remained authentically local and have successfully weathered the storms of change. We understand the unique needs and desires of Downtown Residents; most of our development team are downtown residents themselves.
We pride ourselves on consistently applying our proven best practices from past projects to shape the success of future ones. To this end, we have expanded the Urbanspace brand to include residential real estate, project sales + marketing, interior design services, modern furniture sales, white glove moving & logistics, and hospitality — as well as development — to best serve those that live the urban lifestyle.

2000 | URBANSPACE REAL ESTATE
Born out of an entrepreneurial vision to develop an on- the-ground real estate firm that could uniquely provide turn-key solutions to the needs of downtown and urban core residents, Urbanspace opened its doors in 2000.
2005 | PROJECT MARKETING
In 2005, Urbanspace placed 100% of the Milago under reservation a year before first units were delivered — without a sales center and prior to project completion. Of the 240 units, Urbanspace sold 80% without the assistance of outside agents
2006 | 90 RAINEY ACQUISITION
In 2006, Kevin acquired 90 Rainey, and Urbanspace planned its first development project, consisting of six brownstones at the site. Courtesy of the recession, the brownstones didn’t happen — but lemonade was made, and the site took shape as Container Bar.

Part passion, part client need, Urbanspace Interiors has evolved into the showroom you stand in today, boasting over 100 of the world’s greatest design lines and a full-fledged interior design studio. We are proud to set the standard for high-end design.

Emerging from our desire to cultivate a full suite of lifestyle experiences, Urbanspace Hospitality was founded to create high-design hospitality concepts that serve as exceptional ground floor experiences for our clientele.
2022 | THE MODERN AUSTIN RESIDENCES
Urbanspace’s stamp on the Austin skyline, The Modern Austin Residences launched sales in 2022. Standing at 56 stories, this authentically- Austin tower nods to classic modernism.
